Here at Grüntensee in the Allgäu region, you can't go hiking. We went to several alpine huts with great views and delicious beer. However, the climb up Reuterwanne was a real challenge for me. Even though I don't enjoy hiking in the mountains, I have to admit, the view was phenomenal. But I don't need to do it again.

Nice hike with really steep sections. The kids should already be sure-footed. Great view from the summit cross. The return journey is relaxed along mostly gravel paths. In the last section from the Buronhütte to Grüntensee we walked across the meadow directly under the ski lift. (Didn't record it anymore)
There are several shopping opportunities on the way back.

Great hike started from Grüntensee, through the forest over roots up to the Reuterwanne. From here I have a wonderful view of the Allgäu mountains, descent over the Stubenalpe with a stop and music. Very worthwhile for fantastic conditions at the end of October.
