The motorhome stayed on the grounds of the sauerkraut factory. We cycled along quiet paths to Obernai. We really liked the town center. It has some lovely restaurants and shops. A visit to the city walls is recommended, even though they are no longer completely intact.
We particularly liked the Böckler chocolatier's shop, with its many sweet treats.
A visit to Obernai is highly recommended.
