After 36 hours of continuous rain, the sun broke through the thick cloud cover at around 11.30. So we made a short excursion through the Eriskircher Ried

Nice round.
Here too, only a few water birds could be seen. At the observation point by the outdoor pool, there were only whooper swans and mallards. Just a few meters from the quarters at the mouth of the Schussen, the highlight was a pair of great crested grebes.
Weather: sunny - but a cool wind from the water.
