Short stop in the southern Vosges:

Ballon d'Alsace / the French Ballon

Parking at the pass and a short tour of the summit – unfortunately without a distant view of the Alps.

A little walk in the morning with a great view. Unfortunately the recording was repeatedly interrupted, but the walk was beautiful and almost deserted. It's worth starting early.
