Bacchiglione Springs

Highlight • River

The set of springs that make up the Bacchiglione stream are enclosed in a splendid naturalistic area. It is possible to access it from different points and in different ways, but in any case cycling here is wonderful. There is a refreshment point: to check its opening I recommend you visit the official website of the place, risorgivedelbacchiglione.it.

Astico River Nature Area

Highlight (Segment) • River

This part of the Astico, or the left bank towards the north, is a treasure chest of nature (unfortunately apart from some waste) with lots of beautiful greenery, partly in the riverbed and on the banks. In this segment there is a part of a pleasant (small) single trek, apart from some beautiful roots that occasionally make us jump but, the highlight is the presence of a rich bird life: mallards, moorhens, egrets, coots common, white and gray herons, swans, cormorants and other species that I do not know. If this happens to you, I recommend that you pass by and stop and look, perhaps with good binoculars. Today 29.04.2022 I photographed a pair of Sacred Ibises, another species that I do not know and in the middle of the riverbed a swan on its nest.
