A fantastically beautiful hike on velvety grassland, and all in brilliantly beautiful weather. A treat for the joints! This included the military historical information at the Old Battery and the New Battery. I found it quite interesting. The attractions were of course the views of The Needles rock formation and Alum Bay with its nuances of color in the rock. …
