October 11, 2024,Petit tour à l'Aigoual
I took advantage of a beautiful afternoon before the rains were forecast to do this nice route around the Aigoual, inspired by a track from @Alexandra Tomilina (thanks!). The autumn colors were there and the light too 🤩

Showing Translation

Mont Aigoual is located in the south of the Cévennes and, at 1567 m, is the highest mountain in the Gard department and the second highest in the Cévennes, after Mont Lozère. When the weather is clear it is possible to see the Mediterranean, the Pyrenees and the Alps with the summit of Mont Blanc from the summit.
