The Molenplas is a former arm of the Maas, which today serves as an idyllic nature and recreation lake. Not far from the shore rises the Hompesche Mill, which was built in 1722 as the tallest tower windmill in Limburg. A beautiful hike with a wide variety of different animal species. On this varied tour, we were able to observe free-roaming cattle and horses, countless waterfowl, tadpoles, frogs, and insects.
