Rax Cable Car Mountain Station

Excellent, but also very busy starting point for tours on the Rax Plateau. The extensive snowshoe rental service in winter means that there are often whole hordes of people on the section between the mountain station and Praterstern. From the Ottohaus onwards, however, the crowds disperse.

It is best to book cable car rides online. On site, you can easily rebook the ascent and descent at the machine.
