The church in Beschling houses a particularly valuable work of art with the Gothic winged altar from 1484. The church's patron saints were St. Julius and St. Ulrich, St. Afra and Mary Magdalene. In addition to the latter, they are also figures in the center of the altar. Today, Martin is the main patron saint of the church.
The coffered ceiling from the 17th century, which is also very valuable and unique in Austria, was partly made by the Nenzing artist Christian Lutz. The brotherhood of St. Julius and St. Ottilia from the 16th century still exists today. A plague Christ is also kept in the sacristy. With all these art-historical treasures, the Beschling church can be described as one of the most important in the state of Vorarlberg.
