From the center of Ilfeld it went steeply up to the weather vane with a wonderful view of the southern Harz foreland. Via Gänseschnabel to the Dreitälerblick and Netzkater train station, the path led back in the cool Bere valley. At the end of the tour there was the worthwhile detour to the Ahornpark.
