We started the tour in the morning so as not to get too hot, as you sweat 1000 times more with a small button on your back. If you only walk part of the trail, as we did, it is recommended to do it in the late afternoon for optimal light, as this will illuminate the entire fjord.

In 2008 this stunning hiking trail between Lårdal and Dalen in Telemark opened. A large part of the trail leads along the edge of the mountain up to 800 meters above the Telemark Canal.

The entire hiking trail is about 14 km long. Time required: 6-8 hours. The tour is demanding to very demanding. Highest point: 848 m
