Yesterday seen in the flyer discovery trips of the Erfurter Bahn (EB), today searched on komoot and off you go. Luckily the weather was dry and quite warm.

Rottenbach has a nice station shop where you can buy provisions. You can also take the mountain railway to Katzhütte.
