A gorgeous and steep descent or ascent, depending on which direction you're approaching from. So much to see, from ancient rock formations (including the beautiful Peter's Stone) to wooded dells, and a variety of tracks and paths which give you the opportunity to look at this wonderful natural area from all angles. Very peaceful, very beautiful and very good for the soul!

Well that was a wet, cold, windy, foggy start to the walk! However...it was gorgeous and we hardly saw a soul! 👌🏻

This was a fairly energetic, undulating walk, in the attractive limestone scenery of Cressbrook Dale. Criss-crossing Cresbrook Dale - down, up and down! It rewards with fine views of dramtic countryside.
