It's autumnal! 🌿🍂🍃 Dark clouds - sunshine - jacket on - jacket off 😂 And then it turned out to be much warmer and sunnier than forecast, but with a lot of wind. Nevertheless, the ride was still fun. 👍😉

At a fresh 2 ° C we went to the water, to the Harkortsee 🏞. It is the second oldest of a total of six Ruhr reservoirs. It was completed in 1931 and serves as a river sewage treatment plant.
At the beginning of the Harkortsee is the Ruhr Viaduct 🌁 from 1878. This railway bridge 🚂 spans the Ruhr …

Today I went for another leisurely walk in my home region, I wanted to break in my new boots and make the most of the weather.
Since I was passing Werdringen Castle, I obviously had to eat some cake 🤭
As always, a very nice walk along the Harkortsee.

Today, together with Kris, we went for a walk around the Harkortsee at 13° C and falling darkness. Flashing and reflective like a highway construction site.
But this time the video camera stayed at home.

Today's tour started with my four-legged friend at about 14 °C, about half an hour after sunrise, at the parking lot of Wasserschloss Werdringen.

From there, we headed along the fields towards the Ruhr bridge in Wetter. After crossing the bridge, the path continued through Wetter and then along the Harkortsee towards Herdecke.
