This was a lovely walk which would, I imagine, be even better with a bit of sunshine. Lots of slippery, muddy sections especially in Austy Wood which would normally be surprising for the time of year. But not this year 🌨 A very peaceful walk. And obviously very popular. The paths are well trodden and easy to find and follow. …

Route starts and ends with walk across open fields - so dress appropriately for sun, wind or rain . Middle section is in woodland so with some shelter. The route gets wet and very muddy in winter or wet weather .
