A wonderful hike over challenging paths along the rivers in the valley near Sao Simau. The place is great, that's how you imagine Portugal. We ran the lap the other way around than planned, in coordination with the rain radar. Worked. We were in the village just in time for the rain and were able to take shelter. So today …

I recommend 🥾, mosquito repellent as there are swampy sections in between and definitely bathing suits. If you walk the tour in the other direction, you will end up at the swimming area. I like it! Beautiful tour!
