We started at 10 a.m. on a Sunday, there was plenty of parking and there weren't many people around. The panorama is great, in good weather. If all that isn't enough for you, there are two (paid) highlights:
the Skywalk (skywalk-allgaeu.de) and the Scheidegger Waterfalls (scheidegger-wasserfaelle-allgaeu.de), both of which are on the route 👍
