The path between the first vantage point and the hunting lodge has two well-secured passages (approx. 10-15m) that are equipped with ropes. The first is a little steeper than the second and follows shortly after one another. The passages are, however, quite short. See my two pictures. The ropes can be seen there. Shortly after the second passage comes the hunting lodge. No problem for normal hikers. Those who do not have a head for heights could run into problems. But that's always different individually.

A super beautiful hike with consistently fantastic views of Plansee, Heiterwangersee, Zugspitze, Säuling, Reutte, and the Lechtal valley. The ascent isn't easy. You'll need your hands for scrambling (and ropes are used in two places) at times. From above, Plansee looks mystical, like a fjord that could just as easily be in Norway or New Zealand 😍
