January 1, 2024,Captain Cook’s Fell Race
This was the annual New Year's Day fell race, but it would make a great walk.

The route goes from the centre of Great Ayton, uphill to Captain Cook's monument which sits on the Cleveland Way above the town. And then back down.

We finished with a pint and bag of crisps in The Royal Oak.
