We saw a summit cross from the highway and looked for a tour on komoot.

But the original route wanted us onto the highway. And on foot!

So we simply replanned and came up with this lovely, short route.
We're still sweating 😉

Stunning scenery in the beautiful Altmühl Valley. We hiked along the dry grassland slope and through the forests up to the viewpoint with a towering cross. A historic site with the remains of a circular wall from the Urnfield period.
