Rheinböllen Wildlife Park

Highlight • Structure

On just under 100 hectares there are many easy-to-walk paths to see and experience. The animal park has been self-financing for almost 50 years and receives no state or municipal support. This also relativizes the ticket price of 9 euros. Children pay 4-3 years 4 Euro; Teenies up to 17 years pay 5.50. Wednesday is family day and groups are again cheaper.

The special feature of this zoo is that you can feed many of the animals out of hand and in many other direct contact (some without any fences) can enjoy. In the case of moufflons, these can be quite intrusive. Other highlights are the feedings and the Falknershow and of course: my absolute favorites: the meerkats!

Absolutely take the path of park history. The information boards are really very exciting! From multiple murder to the outbreak of the wolves: everything!

The zoo is open all year and offers various events. Year round an entertaining pastime - especially for families.
