3. Famine broke out during the Thirty Years' War. Two soldiers had only one loaf of bread. They went into the forest and got into a fight. The soldiers stab each other. When they were found, they were crossed. A stone cross was erected in her memory. Since then the forest has been called "Kreuzstein".
