On the way to see friends in Oppenheim, I made a short detour to the island of Rott.
I saw Jürgen's tour. Thank you for sharing. It's a nice flat hike.

A nice round trip around the quarry lake with views from the dam and insights through the reeds. The paths are mostly gravel or paved, the dirt roads are a bit soft but can be walked well with sturdy shoes. The sunset at the end of the tour was great.
