Kaltenbrunn Estate

The Kaltenbrunn estate received its name from a farming family from Kaltenpronn who moved here in 1411 and farmed the property for several generations. The estate was sold several times until 1777 when the Tegernsee monastery under Abbot Gregory I bought the estate back. The Bavarian king later acquired it - until the 1970s it was owned by the Bavarian nobility. Rottach-Egern Spa Park
