Really great view from the Red Tower in Pouch. The view from the level tower is just as worthwhile. The nature around the Goitzsche is very relaxing, even on foot. 👣

We hiked anti-clockwise from the city harbor. The first usable rest area was after 15 km. Something urgently needs to be done there.

Almost completely asphalted, but very scenic, especially the Goitzsche wilderness, you can see the mast of the 24-hour osprey webcam from NaBu! Lots of cyclists and e-bikers as well as inline skaters on the way, but never an obstacle thanks to the wide paths. Refreshments/supplies …

Unfortunately, the hiking trails near the lake were so overgrown that they were actually impassable. We tried several times, but always ended up going back to the cycle route. It was much worse than at the Mulde reservoir, where at least there was a continuous footpath.

A bit monotonous (cycle route) with little hidden (discovery) gems around the lake.

The nature is indescribably beautiful. There's so much to discover. It's a shame that most of the route is paved; it makes your feet quite tired. Since the route is less than 30km, I ended up on the Bitterfelder Bogen.

A strenuous tour, but it was worth it. And the weather played along well too 👍

For the free weekend, it was again about a lake today, namely the Great Goitzschesee, which I find very beautiful and the circular route is also beautiful (for me).... small harbour, level tower - unfortunately at the moment in the evening without light, wakeboard - Plant, red tower, floating houses, long blue bench etc, were a few things worth seeing. …
