Due to heavy gusts of wind, we unfortunately had to abandon our tour of Mont Mounier just 1 km from the finish. But we weren't comfortable going up the ridge in such weather conditions. But we saw lots of eagles that took advantage of the wind conditions to circle above our heads. 😁

Fog above 2000m. When we hardly believed in it, at 2400 we were suddenly above the clouds. Always an experience.
However, it was already too late to reach the main summit. We had to make do with Petit Mounier.
