In the center of Greoßseeham, the spit roast house and the village chapel opposite form an unequal pair. The chapel in Großseeham, built in 1733 in honor of St. Franz Xavier, commemorates those who died of the plague in 1633 from Großseeham (36 adults and 16 young people) and Kleinseeham (28 adults and 12 young people).

As a result of secularisation, the chapel, which once belonged to the Weyarn monastery, came into the possession of the community - at that time Holzolling. Since then, the Seeham village community has done a lot of its own work to preserve it. Extensive renovations were made to the chapel in 1933, 1959, 1986 and 2017. In the Spießbratenhaus you eat home-style (with the exception of the day off on Wednesday). Care must be taken when crossing the road on curves.
