Koserow Beach

Highlight • Beach

There is a beautiful sandy beach east of Koserow. There are arcades on the cliffs. The dunes are planted so that they are not carried away by the wind and migrate.

Koserow Pier (Koserow Pier)

Highlight • Bridge

The bridge is 280 meters long and 3.5 meters wide. Its unique design is particularly striking: it follows a wave-like pattern instead of running straight from the shore into the sea.

The tour is easy to walk without requiring any great effort. There wasn't much activity, but this route isn't really a blast, as you walk through a lot of villages.

Last tour of 2021.
Very nice mist hung over the water the whole time and was increasing by the minute. It was an end-of-year gift because I've wanted that for a long time.

Usedom is a dream 🥰 one tour is more beautiful than the other!!!

On today's tour we were able to enjoy the backwaters and the Baltic Sea.

We really liked the Koserow pier, which was completely new and modern in design.
With the super nice weather 🌞 we sat at the end of the bridge for a long time.

Along the edge of the cliff to the Koserow pier (completed in 2021) and from there always hiking on the dikes first to the island's largest painter at Lüttenort -Otto Niemeyer Holstein- and aft past Koserow to Loddin.

The narrowest place in Usedom, between Zempin and Koserow, only about 300 meters wide, was my destination. On the way there, the Gleislsberg, at least 58 meters high 🤭, was climbed 🧗🏻‍♂️. Alpine knowledge 🤣 is not required.

After our drizzle break yesterday, it was time for another tour today. I chose the Loddiner Höft because it just sounds beautiful. But first we have to go to the Koserow pier and grab a fish sandwich for lunch. We continue along the Baltic Sea beach to Kölpinsee. We leave the Baltic Sea past the lake of the same name …
