Directly south of Almaty lies the Ile-Alatau National Park.
From the city you can take bus number 12 directly to Alatau. It couldn't be easier.
The region is very popular and the mountain station is very busy and colorful.
So move on quickly...
The first part of the hike is on an asphalt road. We didn't experience any significant traffic …
