Made a stopover in the Rila Mountains above Borovets on a camper tour towards the Caucasus. A ski tourer came down from the mountain and said there was still a lot of snow.
Went up a farm track and ski slopes the next morning.
From 2100 m completely snow.
Two variants of the route... Descend once again and climb up …

Today we wanted to visit the highest peak in Bulgaria. At 2,925.40 m, Musala is the highest mountain in Bulgaria and also in the entire Balkan Peninsula.

Today we left the option open of taking the lift from Borovetz to Yastrebetz, as it is now open again for summer tourism.
