Wonderful tour along the Moselle to Bernkastel-Kues and up to Landshut Castle. The return tour above the Moselle is highly recommended, as it goes high up through the vineyards - a dream view over the Moselle valley!

If you like, you can collect lots of nuts on this very scenic tour on the Moselle cycle path in September. Unfortunately, you often drive along the road between Piesport and Bernkastel-Kues on the return trip. You should think about doing the tour the other way around, maybe then you won't find the road so unpleasant.

Cycled along the Moselle in perfect cycling weather.
From Bernkastel-Kues, I cycled along a superb cycle path on the south bank of the Moselle to Piesport.
The return route on the north bank wasn't as good, and more importantly, it wasn't completely passable.
All in all, though, a beautiful piece of land that's definitely worth seeing. 👍

From Bernkastel-Kues we went to the new Skywalk on the Kues Plateau. The climb is rewarded with a great view over Bernkastel-Kues and the Moselle valley. Praise to the designers of the new spa park. We continued on to Piesport and back to Bernkastel-Kues.
