In addition to the beautifully renovated and decorated house of the mountain lodge, there is also an old wooden house of traditional construction moved from Krašić. It is close to the eponymous waterfall Cerinski vir (KT8 Samobor Mountaineering Bypass).

He works on weekends and by appointment, except on Catholic holidays and during the summer break. It offers accommodation, home-made delicious dishes (from local ingredients) and drinks, and especially for this mountain lodge, St. Patrick's pale ale green beer is also produced.

Cerinski Vir Waterfall

The most picturesque waterfall in the Samobor hills is located in the canyon of Javorački potok and for a long time it was hidden from the view of local mountaineers who stumbled upon it in 1927, after returning from a trip to Japetić. Hidden in the woods, separated from the world by recently difficult roads, its noise is heard before reaching a notch down which flows a beautiful 10-meter waterfall. It is especially beautiful in spring and autumn, when the stream is rich in water, while in summer it can dry out.

Until 2016, hiking to Cerinski vir required a bit more effort from mountaineers and hikers than is the case with other valuable Samobor excursion locations, but since 2016 the road to the waterfall is much more accessible thanks to the efforts of HPD Sveti Patrik members. After arranging a mountain lodge on Cerina, they cleaned part of the Javorec stream, cleared part of the trail, set up two bridges over the stream and enabled everyone who is ready for a small forest adventure to easily reach the foot of the waterfall and enjoy another pearl of Samobor hills.

Šoićeva Kuća

Šoić's house is the oldest mountaineering facility in the Samobor hills. It is a ground floor building located at the beginning of Mali Lipovac, to the right of the road along the Klokočevica stream (or Lipovečka Gradna), and below the slope where the Lipovec hillfort stands. In 1931, the HPP branch Japetić bought the building of the former railway station and arranged pl. house, and after the then deserving president, it was named Šoić's house. In front of the house, the society built a well in 1935, and placed tables and benches for picnickers around it under the canopy. Although located in a valley with a narrow view, it is well visited. It is popular because of the beautiful mountain nature in the area, its position in the center of the mountains and at the crossroads.
