Today we went to Kastl on another Jura loop. Already from the hiking car park you could see Kastl's landmark, the monastery castle, enthroned.

Due to a road block, I canceled the planned visit to the monastery and instead made my way directly to Pfaffenhofen to the Schweppermannsburg.

Started in Kastl at -9 degrees Celsius 🥶. Unfortunately, the fog didn't lift, which made the air even colder with a light wind. We hiked as far as above Mühlhausen and back via Rechenfels... at 12:30 it was still -5 degrees Celsius 😬. Time for a hot punch 😊😋
