The Staffkogel at 2,115 meters is a scenic summit at the end of the Saalbach-Hinterglemm valley and a popular destination for fit hikers. The ascent leads over gentle alpine pastures and the Oberreiter Joch up to the grassy summit, from which there is a magnificent panoramic view of the Glemmtal, the Hohe Tauern, the Wilder Kaiser, and the Steinberge. A rewarding mountain with a quiet atmosphere and impressive distant views.
