This beautiful recreational area on the outskirts of Vienenburg was created through the renaturation of a former gravel mining area. A walking, hiking and cycling path with rest benches runs around the lake, from which branches also lead across the Oker into the Harly.
Once a year - usually in August - the Vienenburger Seefest takes place.
