The Waldschulheim Conradswiese belongs to the town of Lauter-Bernsbach and is operated by Staatsbetrieb Sachsenforst. The grounds include an interesting nature trail with a maze.
The name refers to the former owner Balthasar Kühnert. He built a veritable outpost around his little house to protect himself from bears and wolves. The population called the property „Kunertwies“, from which „Conradswiese“ was derived.

About 10 km south of Aue, in the middle of a Conradwiese nature reserve, lies the Waldschulheim of the same name.
