Cycling

The town church of St. Marien in Strasburg was built between 1250 and 1280. Construction of the church began in the second half of the 13th century. The conversion of the central part into a high-Gothic three-aisled hall church began around 1450. The church was extensively restored in 1935 and 1990. The Kaltschmidt organ dates from the middle of the 19th century, the painting of the barrel vault from 1935. The bells and the inventory of the church were erected in the 20th century.

Hiking

The church is centrally located on the market square in Strasburg. It is a landmark of the town and part of the Strasburg parish (Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northern Germany). Nearby is the local history museum (in the former schoolhouse from 1760) with exhibits such as the famous straw clock.
