Stunningly beautiful reservoir, is very popular with tourists! There are managed parking spaces on both sides next to the dam. It can get tight in summer!

The Klöntalersee is a hiking, MTB and racing bike highlight.
Fiord-like landscape, swimming and camping opportunities, starting point for mountain tours (including Glärnisch), MTB routes (downhill from Schwammhöchi; Toruen via Längeneggpass and Schwialppass etc.) and racing bike route (Pragelpass, also suitable for MTB). Often crowded on weekends!

Mountain biking
I have been up here a few times now and I am always fascinated by this seemingly natural landscape. The lake can be circumnavigated on a well-developed hiking trail. The path on the south side is particularly recommended. On the north side you have to walk on the street, which is sometimes a bit tedious. The lake is easy to reach and therefore overcrowded from time to time.
