When you're up there, it's nice to hike along the ridge and just enjoy the beautiful view.
The view on the Stockberg is really very far reaching, over the surrounding areas up to the Bodensee, Lake Zurich, Neuenalpspitz, behind the Churfirsten, the Appenzeller country with the Kronberg and the Alpstein present themselves a wonderful.

The ridge path (dead end) from Stockberg eastwards is nothing special in itself, but at the end you have beautiful additional views towards Schwägalp/Säntis.
