Hiking

The Lichtenhain Forest Railway, a 600 mm-gauge narrow-gauge railway, was rebuilt in October 1994 and was assembled from industrial and field railway stocks. The railway is still under construction, but operations can be carried out on the approximately 1 km route from the “An der Bergbahn” station to the “Waldschänke” station and back. This section of the route opened in May 1998. The route extension is under construction.
