Hiking
Even today, after more than 100 years, the bomb craters are still visible and you can only imagine what it looked like back then and how people felt.

Fleury-devant Douaumont was until the Battle of Verdun in the First World War, a small French farming village in the Meuse in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine). It was in Verdun's inner defensive ring and in a strategic position outside Verdun, between the Fort de Souville and the Ouvrage de Froideterre. de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fleury-devant-Douaumont
