Mountaineering
The summit of the 1,708 m high Schrofennas is adorned with a small, handcrafted cross. That's quite nice, it can also be modest.

A smaller summit with a self-made summit cross, but with a great view of the lake

Hiking
The Schrofenas summit is a challenging hike; sometimes you can move up using the attached rope. Without this it would almost not be possible. The summit cross is very small but nice and something different than what you are used to. Anyone who has completed the climb will definitely be rewarded with a breathtaking view of Lake Plansee when the weather is clear
