Frenchmans Beach lies below the headland between Deadmans Beach and Point Lookout, reached by a long flight of stairs from Mooloomba Road. The sand feels far removed from the busier village above, with steep, vegetated bluffs and rocky ends framing the bay. Swimming is not advised here, and the rocky passage towards Deadmans Beach can be difficult around higher tides, so check conditions before continuing along the shore.
