There is a viewing spot marked further along the trail, but secretly, this is the better viewpoint! No crowds, no view on the busy highway and a better place to turn around. Alternatively, you can continue here for a much longer (and much harder!) hike up to the Summit of Mt. Wilcox, which starts down the trail and a turn to the right.
