Camping Petit lac Noir is a scenic backcountry lake with a rustic tent camping site. There is no electricity, running water, or vehicle access, so hikers must pack out all of their trash and be entirely self-sufficient with their own equipment, navigation, and water filters. The lake itself is a small body of water lake tucked deep into the dense boreal forests of Saint-Siméon. Its name comes from its mirror-like, dark-tinted water, often with wilderness sounds around it like the call of loons.
