Hiking
The Klarlweiher is a historic pond created in the 17th century. It is up to three meters deep and has an area of just under three hectares. Today, the pond is mainly used by the Haimhausen Angling Association (Fischerfreunde Haimhausen e.V.) as a fishing water. The anglers fish for carp, tench, pike, and catfish. In the past, ice was harvested from the pond in winter to cool the products of the Haimhausen castle brewery. The Klarlweiher is divided into two basins, surrounded by old oak forest, and offers a beautiful footpath for walks. Swimming is not permitted here.
