Rådmandshave, a nature reserve since 1947, forms the green edge of Næstved on South Zealand. The 57-hectare forest belongs to Herlufsholm and, together with Friheden, Stenskoven, and Kalbyrisskoven, is part of the Herlufsholmskovene woods. You will find beech forest on mull soil, moist oak forest, and alder swamp with some very old trees, as well as one of the most beautiful Danish stands of the Common Bird Cherry.
