Life-size aluminium replica of a German DFS 230 glider on the upper plateau of Fort Eben-Emael. The monument commemorates the German attack of 10 May 1940, when gliders with airborne troops landed on and around the fort. The 11-metre-long construction was made by students from Campus de Helix in Maasmechelen.
