Cycling
Although the lake lies at the foot of the Alpine glaciers, the water is not icy at all – in summer, its temperature reaches up to 25°C! This is all thanks to active thermal springs hidden in the tectonic faults beneath the bed of the eastern part of the lake. This warm water is actually pumped directly into the pools of the luxury hotels you pass while cycling along the shore.
